Ticketmaster's not my fucking friend! Corporate America wins it once again. All's they do is take all my cash. I just want to kick their goddam ass! Niy! Niy! Niy! One day I was walking down that road. Ticketmaster came and fucked me in my toe! And I just take my head up on my own. But my money and my money and my money and my money's all gone! Niy! Niy! Niy! ***Solo*** Ticketmaster's not my fucking friend! Corporate America wins it once again. All's they do is take all my cash. I just want to kick their goddam ass! Niy! Niy! Niy! ***End song***

El Dorado 03:43
***Verse*** I walk alone this winding road we call life. In time of need I believe to breath out harsh lies. When I succeed I only mislead my own mind. Inside of me that reaper feeds on a goldmine. ***Verse*** There was a time where brainwashed minds could be king. I blindly lead a highway of men to be ratified. Than Jesus Christ he took my life like I had none. I rose again in a different land and I called it El Dorado! ***Chorus*** Yeah, Yeah El Dorado! No, no... El Dorado! Yeah, yeah... El Dorado! No, no... El Dorado! ***Verse*** I walk along this new found ground like I got no... No shoes or booze just my tattoos but I didn't mind. Than the Devil came and than we sang about a sacrifice. Than my worst fear quickly appeared in the form of El Dorado! ***Chorus*** Yeah, Yeah El Dorado! No, no... El Dorado! Yeah, yeah... El Dorado! No, no... El Dorado! ***Verse*** This golden land mixed with quick sand is all gone now. I woke and spoke of an evil joke get up now. And the rest of my life has been comprimised with false hope. I strive to be back in that dream in the land of El Dorado! ***Chorus*** El Dorado! El Dorado! El Dorado! El Dorado! ***End Song***

about

The album murtsgoD is Dogstrum's first EP and professionally released material. Recorded and mixed in the summer of 2015 by Ben Jenkins at The Killroom Studios in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle. After a year of mastering and artwork delays, the album was finally released at Neumos in the summer of 2016.

Murtsgod (correctly capitalized murtsgoD), is a semordnilap or mirror image of the band's name Dogstrum.

Shorty after the release of Murtsgod, Dogstrum was featured on Seattles local radio station KISW 99.9 “The Rock” as the Loud and Local band of the week.

The band has been described as follows:

“Seattle’s Dogstrum fucking throws down. Their new single, “Ticket Master”, has all the ruckus energy of a nightclub on fire. Crunchy guitars pair with powerful vocals for some seriously stellar rock n roll.”
-Yabyumwest.com ‘7 Rad Rock Singles’

“Dogstrum reminds me of bands on Hype! (Grunge documentary) and stuff from my school years, somewhat distanced from, that I'd missed out on. The sound makes one cozy. They play longer, and louder, and sound more like a grumpy smurf, and don't require a VHS player!”
-Dale Anderson

“Dogstrum delivers music that flexes between grungy garage and the well ordered lawn of rock ‘n’ roll, that in whatever guise pummels lumps out of the plaster as the pulverizing bass jackhammers the room whilst mewling guitar claws at the arms and percussion flies like a scalded cat which is all brought to context by a growling blues-rock vocal.”

Growing up in Seattle during the 90's has lent Dogstrum their sound which has been lovingly described as "grump-punk" by Seattle's alternative weekly newspaper "The Stranger."

Dogstrum’s first EP, cleverly titled Murtsgod, was released in the summer of 2016.

Shortly after the release, Dogstrum was featured on the local radio station KISW 99.9 “The Rock” as the Loud and Local band of the week.
